Golf
Golf is something that I only started playing a couple of years ago, but I have fallen in love with the sport and have been playing ever since. I am constantly working on my strokes and strategy to improve my ability. This is something that I can do for the rest of my life and is a great sport that will help build a social network of friends.
Drumming
I have been playing the drums for eight years. I had a drum lesson from a famous rock drummer and his name is Carmine Appice; he played with the bands – Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osborne and Rod Stewart. The complexity of different genres has always interested me, such as jazz with the great Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich. Drumming allows me to be creative, putting my own personality into the many different styles. My mentors of drumming are Neil Pert (Rush), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theatre) and Travis Barker (Blink 182) because they have gone through personal hardships and continued drumming.
Travel
I absolutely love travelling with my family to different destinations around the world and take in all the unique sights and sounds that each location has to offer. My parents have always encouraged my sister and I to travel, to experience all different cultures, customs and activities. I thrive on adventure like swimming with dolphins, hiking up a mountain and tasting new unique types of food. In the very near future I hope to visit many diverse locations this world has to offer.
